Don Walker
If you’re reading this you either typed in the wrong url or really want to know more about me…I’m going with the latter.
I was born in Roanoke, Va on Nov. 13th, 19…um, we’ll leave that last part blank. I have a wonder wife and two little boys, 5 years and 6 months. When I’m not changing diapers or cleaning crayon marks off the wall, there is one thing I love to do…NOTHING! Sleep has become my best friend. Though when I’ve had enough sleep, I enjoy watching The Office, Ghost Hunters, and any judge show that happens to be on at the time.
When it comes to radio, I’ve been doing this for over 17 years. (Those from the area might remember a “Dangerous Don Walker” years ago) Now I get to send you home every afternoon on the NRV’s newest radio station. And for the record, I am a proud papa so I will be talking about my kids and the off the wall stuff that comes out of their mouths.
One random note: My wife and I got engaged on the Montel Williams Show (remember him?) Best honeymoon I never had to pay for…
Anyway, I can’t wait to meet you when we’re out on the town. Just make sure not to punch me in the arm or slap me on the back too hard…I bruise like a peach.
